Background

Once their father, the leader recognized how talented Larisu was, he had the tribe pool together their assets to send her to The Studium on Old Sharlyan.There she has done nothing but research the relation and corelation between aetheric waveforms and sound resonnance.She has kept to herself on the island, attending classes, synposiums and has given several lectures about her focus, but her sisters--mostly Mui-- begged her to visit the mainland.And she couldn't deny her little sister now could she?She applied for a research sabatical, which landed her in U'ldah. Her per diem doesn't cover her expensives and she is actively looking for work so she doesn't have to turn back to her people for assistance.This woman of the W tribe is W'larisu or "Risu" for short. While she shares a father with Seafoam and Mui, her mother was of a Keeper Tribe and left them to be with their father. Her mother often reinforced into Risu that she would have to work 400 times more to be recognized as the Nunh's first born given she shared the long lush tail from her mother.She grew up in a large family that while loving, didn’t have much.What she did earn she often gave to her father to give things to her sisters, aiming to show their father how sacraficing and capable she was from an early age. Because of this she isn't very good at accepting things, like gifts or compliments--unless it has to do with her profession.You'll find her in U'ldah knowing one if not both of her sisters will show up at the quicksands...eventually.
